Port of Hopes Bowling Fundraiser

Port of Hopes Inc. drop-in-center, is a non-profit organization located at 731 Griswold St. in Port Huron for individuals impacted by mental illness. We are open 365 days a year from 8AM until 6PM. Many times, individuals impacted by mental illness are far too often forgotten. We provide a safe haven for the individuals that attend our center. Our facility provides hope, support, help to any individual struggling, a listening ear, cup of coffee, computer usage, friendship, or just a place to hang their hat and more. At some point in our travels through life, mental illness can impact a close family member, a special friend, a neighbor, a veteran, or even you. We here at Port of Hopes are striving to bring awareness to this issue.

We’re hosting our fourth annual bowling fundraiser on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Port Huron Lanes 1718 Hancock St., Port Huron, MI.48060. Admission is $20 donation per person in advance, $25 at the door, which includes three games, shoes, two slices of pizza and a pop. Sign in begins at 6:00 p.m. and we’ll start bowling at 7 pm with raffle giveaways, silent auction items and one 50/50 drawing to follow.

We want your help striking out the stigma of mental illness! Our hope is that you will show support to our organization, by selecting a sponsorship opportunity (see attached Sponsorship Opportunities form). Unity as a community is so paramount in supporting individuals with mental illness and fostering community awareness.

All proceeds raised will be used to assist with social activities and other programs available to members in our organization. Some activities our members enjoy are; bingo, cards, crafts and educational trips.
